I'm Aslak Linde, the creator behind it all. With a heart deeply rooted in the creative process, I'm here to share my passion for innovative design that breathes life into spaces.

At Studio Linde it's not just about the final product; it's about the process that brings it to life. I highly trust the process, in all aspects of life. Especially with design methodologies as my tools. Each piece carries a part of my journey—a journey driven by a love for pushing boundaries and an affair with design perfection.

A journey that started by me growing up in a small town in Norway named Rognan, tucked an hour north of the Arctic Circle. With a father crafting traditional wooden boats, I learned the joy of creating from an early age.
Growing up by the ethereal beauty of polar landscapes, where darkness meets light I also learned the art of balance.

My joy and passion for creating has always been enormous. And as I grew up this passion had to be put in a system, so that others also could benefit from it. During product design studies in Oslo (Oslo MET) I discovered my enthusiasm for furniture design, and shaped by my past, wood naturally became the material of choice for me. 

Today I've developed a signature style, but as design is an infinite game, my style will progress. However my goal is to keep designing after the three words; Fun, Functional and Sustainable. What we put into those words will of course also progress over time. It's a journey of a lifetime.  As your furniture should be with you for a lifetime, before it's given to someone else for their lifetime.
